CALL CENTRE, CENTRAL STATION ALARM OPERATOR

As a Call Center, Central Station Alarm Operator, your main responsibility is to process incoming alarms and answer all related incoming phone calls. As an alarm-monitoring operator, you are considered our main workforce of the Monitoring Services Department. We expect you to take an interest in all aspects of ProTELEC and you must be aware of all company policies regardless of department or division. As a team member, we expect that you show any interest in all matters of the central operation and that your knowledge of the equipment and company policies be equal to that of a supervisor.

  • CheckMate Alarms
  • Elevator Alarms
  • DICE Alarms
  • SafetyNet Alarms

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities – Work under pressure, attention to detail, tight deadlines, overtime, manual dexterity, fast-paced environment, sitting (sit-stand desks available)

Personal Suitability – Excellent written communication, organized, flexibility, effective interpersonal skills, values and ethics, team player, excellent oral communication, client focus

Security and Safety – Criminal record check

Hours of work:
Full-time includes days/evenings/weekends
Monday – Friday 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Due to the 24/7 nature of this department, flexibility is essential

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ Customer Service experience
  • Call Center experience is Considered an Asset
  • Previous Experience in an Alarm Monitoring Station is considered an asset
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention is considered an asset
