ProTELEC is pleased to announce the sale of its residential security business to a.p.i. Alarm Inc. on July 2, 2019. ProTELEC’s residential monitoring services have been permanently and securely transferred to a.p.i. Alarm Inc., and a forwarding system is activated so all customers have immediate access to a.p.i. Alarm Inc.’s Emergency Monitoring Centre. All ProTELEC residential customers are being notified of this transition by letter, and an FAQ webpage contains additional details.

The sale of ProTELEC’s residential business allows full-time focus on our fast-growing commercial business in the security and lone-worker safety industries. Over the past year and a half, we have seen our business expand with integrated security services and cutting-edge technology which include alarms, CCTV, door access and intercom systems. We continue to service our long-standing clients at hospitals, property management companies, industrial, financial and agricultural businesses, and have become a security systems leader in the cannabis producer market.

Although the next chapter for ProTELEC Alarms is focusing on our growing commercial security and monitoring division, we will always remember and be grateful for the trust our residential customers gave us.
